The new strip has not been officially unveiled and the team are yet to wear it – but that didn’t stop one shop in the US from displaying it in their shop.
Fans have been given a detailed first look at Manchester United’s expected new home kit after it appeared to go on sale early. Pictures have emerged of the highly anticipated Adidas shirt on rails at a sports shop in the US, report the Manchester Evening News.
That is despite the strip not having been officially unveiled or the team having even worn it yet. One eagle-eyed fan took the snaps after spotting the shirt at a branch of the Dicks Sporting Goods which was priced at $90, equivalent to £58.
It is the same as previously leaked images of the shirt , which has Adidas’ iconic three stripes running down the sleeve and a raised badge as well as the name of sponsor Chevrolet.
United signed a world-record £750million deal with the German sportswear giants last year which is due to begin this season. It is a return to a bygone era with the Reds previously sporting Adidas 1980-1992.
