Premier League champions Chelsea have officially launched their new third kit to be worn in the the UEFA Champions League and Cup matches.
Chelsea last wore a black third kit in the 2012-13 season, and this all new third shirt for the Blues is one of the classiest kit releases for the 2015-16 season by Adidas. Classic black panels cover the shirt and for a modern touch a special black and white glimmer gradient pattern is presented on the front panel.
Rounded crew-neck collars seam to be adidas “thing” for the 2015-16 season while the iconic three-stripes on the shoulders are coloured white. Additional white trim applications colour the sleeve cuffs, adidas branding and Yokohama Tyres sponsor.
Matching the shirt, the same black and white glimmer gradient pattern is presented on the shorts for a completely new look for the London-based side and to match the shorts solid white socks are used with black trim applications.
Unveiled by three of Chelsea’s adidas contracted players: Diego Costa, Cesar Azpilicueta and Nemanja Matic the new third kit will be headlined by Chelsea in away matches in the upcoming Champions League, Carling Cup and FA Cup matches.
