Several of AC Milan’s players played for their respective nations at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil including Mattia De Sciglio, Sulley Muntari, Keisuke Honda, Michael Essien, Cristián Zapata, Ignazio Abate, Nigel de Jong and Mario Balotelli.
