Manchester City have now officially launched their new Third kit for this season. Wearing a yellow third shirt in the 2005-06 season, the all new third shirt for City boasts a striking light green base colour dubbed “Ghost Green”. Like what Nike did for their 2014-15 third kits several big name Nike teams will use the same third kit template including Barcelona and Inter Milan.
The headline design feature of the new third shirt is the faded-out gradient design on the sleeves and short ends. The entire sleeve cuffs are black while the gradient effect occurs half way down the sleeve for a brand new look for the Manchester-based outfit.
Black stripes are used on the flanks of the shirt and shorts while the Nike Big Swoosh logo, Etihad Airways sponsor and club crest are coloured black. The new third kit is completed with highlighted light green shorts which also uses the black gradient themed design while the shorts are coloured black.
Manchester City will likely wear this shirt in away matches in teh Champions League and the odd away game in the Premier League, Capital One Cup and FA Cup Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSG will also use the new same third kit template for the 2015-16 seasons.
