La Liga giants Real Madrid have officially launched their new third kit to be worn in the upcoming Champions League and La Liga campaigns.
Headlining a black third kit last season, the all new third kit is inspired by Madrid’s night sky featuring a navy blue (Night Indigo) base with additional sky blue trim applications. Originally leaked in one of our previous articles, the new third shirt for Los Blancos is the first ever dark navy design for the Madrid-based outfit.
For an elegant touch sky blue trim applications headline adidas’ trademark three-stripes on the shoulders, sleeve cuffs and piping on the rounded crew-neck collar. White is the third colour and adorns teh Fly Emirates sponsor, adidas logo and Real Madrid crest which has been monochromed.
Inside the neckline “Hala Madrid y nada más” (Hala Madrid and nothing else) is printed. The new third kit is completed with Night Indigo shorts and socks with additional sky blue and white trim applications.
Real Madrid are a club that like to experiment with different coloured third shirts as in the last five seasons they have used black, orange, green, red and purple shirts.
